Federal Pontoon

Have you ever heard of the casino game in Australia called Pontoon? Well, Federal Pontoon refers to a similar version that is played in a place in Australia called Tasmania. There are two casinos in that area, Wrest Point and Country Club in Hobart and Launceston respectively that Federal Group owns.

Specific Federal Pontoon rules include the following:

  • decks are dealt from the shoe.
  • Re-splitting up to three hands is allowed - Aces excluded.

At Wrest Point, this game is only played in public and cannot be found in VIP rooms.

The 21 Games

Jupiters 21 refers to another version Australia's Pontoon and is played in a Gold Coast casino in Queensland called Jupiters Casino.

Specific Jupiters 21 rules include the following:

  • decks are dealt from CSMs.
  • Re-splitting isn't permitted.

Jupiters 21 only exists in Jupiters Casino's public area and cannot be found in VIP rooms. Every Pontoon game in the casinos of Queensland follow the exact same rules overall.

Treasury 21, on the other hand, refers to another version of Australia's Pontoon and is played in a Brisbane casino in Queensland called Treasury Casino.

Specific Treasury 21 rules include the following:

  • In Treasury Casino's public area, 6 decks get dealt from CSMs.
  • In their VIP rooms, 6 decks get dealt from the shoe.
  • Re-splitting isn't permitted.

Every Pontoon game in the casinos of Queensland follows the exact same rules overall.
